I’ve never fit neatly into one box.
I’m a wife, a mother, a writer, a woman of faith, a student, a creator, and about a dozen other things depending on the day.
And somewhere along the way, I realized that most of life happens in the space between things.
Between confidence and uncertainty.
Between holding on and letting go.
Between extending grace and finding the grit to stand your ground.
Between who you’ve been and who you’re still becoming.
That’s what Fiercely, Jessica is for.
This is a place for the things I find myself thinking about long after everyone else has moved on. Motherhood. Faith. Family. Growth. Hard things. Funny things. The things I’m learning, the things I’m questioning, and occasionally the things I just need to get out of my head and onto a page.
I don’t have all the answers, and I’m not particularly interested in pretending that I do.
I’m just living a very full, very imperfect life and trying to pay attention to what God might be teaching me in the middle of it.
Sometimes that requires grace.
Sometimes it requires grit.
Most days, I think it requires a little bit of both.
So that’s where you’ll find me—
somewhere between grace & grit.
